Texas Chapter
| The TEXAS Chapter of the Southern Police Institute Alumni Association (TEXASSPIAA.COM) is a non-profit organization comprised of law enforcement professionals both active and retired. The goal of TEXAS SPIAA is to further enhance the law enforcement profession in Texas by supporting the educational programs of the Southern Police Institute, University of Louisville, Kentucky. TEXAS SPIAA will work on its goal through training opportunities, conducting conferences, awarding scholarships, networking events, and web information sharing.

Being founded and incorporated under Texas Law in August of 2007 by three Southern Police Institute graduates from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Chapter of the SPI Alumni Association is currently accepting members from around the State. |
| Membership dues will be $30 and currently provides for maintenance and access to the Chapter’s website, and a members bulletin (members only section). |
| In addition, as the chapter continues to grow, membership dues, donations, and any funds obtained through fund raising will be used to further the goal of the organization. |
| Membership is open to all law enforcement professionals who embrace the Texas SPIAA philosophy, "United as Professionals, sharing information and knowledge, we can enhance the Law Enforcement Profession". |
